Uzo Mozie
Ugo Mozie is the young mastermind behind many of the last five years’ biggest fashion moments and the man engineering a creative pilgrimage to Nigeria and to the wider African continent. He is influencing fashion through his work with the global fashion and entertainment elite including Beyonce, Celine Deion, Justin Bieber, Travis Scott, among others.
With the goal of building Africa’s very own Mickey Mouse Club by developing and promoting Africa’s brightest talent, Ugo has already begun making strides – catapulting Nigerian mega-star Wizkid to the precipice of global fame with high profile collaborations between the Afrobeats sensation and brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Ciroc.
Ugo debuted his first fashion line in 2009, then diversified into PR, Marketing and Creative Management when he was appointed the youngest ever US PR Director of the iconic fashion house Vivienne Westwood. He released his first luxury hat line in 2015.
In 2018, Oxford University appointed him as Head of Fashion and Cultural Diversity, a role that sees him teaching quarterly workshops at the prestigious
university.
A global citizen, Ugo is currently based in Los Angeles and is championing the provision of sustainable living solutions to developing countries through his charity WANA (We Are New Africa).
